Complementing the grayscale color palette on a black and white background, I have created a small selection of colors that meet AA accessibility criteria also on white and on black.

All three colors also work as a background, with the same level of accessibility, using a black or white foreground color, as in the examples listed below.

These colors are not intended to function as a palette in itself, but to respond to the need for messages of success, error, and links over both backgrounds, always complementing the existing accessibility criteria, such as accompanying the color of a visual and textual element that represents it, use fonts with the appropriate thickness, etc…
